Things to Do in Raleigh NC
Are you wondering what fun or educational things there are to in Raleigh, NC? How about a trip to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences which provides visitors the opportunity to learn and have a hands-on experience with science and nature. Whether you want to beat the Summer heat or find an activity to entertain your kids on a rainy day, the Museum of Natural Sciences is great for adults and children. Known as the best museum of its kind in the Southeast, this is must place to visit in Raleigh NC.
Think you know everything about Science? Then don’t miss on the Science Trivia event being held on June 4, 2015 at the Daily Planet Café in the Nature Research Center starting at 7pm. Enjoy an evening of questions on science facts, news, pop culture and scientific discoveries.
On the same day, if astronomy is your thing, you might enjoy a lecture by Anna Frebel, Assistant Professor of Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) being held at 4:30 pm in the SECU Daily Planet Theater.
Just because the kids might be out for the Summer, doesn’t mean the learning has to stop. But, it helps if they can have fun while learning at the same time. If that is something that you are interested in for your family, check out Game Night that is recommended for ages 4 and up which is a friendly and fun active held every Thursday in the Micro World iLab between 6pm and 8:30pm.
